The Department of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at Avichi College of Arts and Science, Chennai, is a vibrant and dynamic hub for aspiring business leaders and entrepreneurs. Programs Offered
Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.)
Duration: 3 Years (Full-time Undergraduate Program)
Curriculum Focus: A comprehensive curriculum covering core management principles, specialized business functions, contemporary business practices, and essential soft skills. The program is designed to provide a broad understanding of business operations while allowing for some specialization through elective courses.
Learning Methodology: A blend of lectures, case studies, group discussions, business simulations, industrial visits, guest lectures from industry experts, and project-based assignments to ensure a dynamic and experiential learning environment.
Career Prospects: Graduates are prepared for entry-level managerial positions in various sectors such as marketing, finance, human resources, operations, retail, and IT, or can pursue entrepreneurial endeavours. The program also serves as an ideal stepping stone for Master’s programs like M.B.A.

Over view:
Association (Domain Club)
The Executive Club,” a dynamic student-centric initiative designed to empower our B.B.A. students. This club is entirely run by students, for students, and plays a pivotal role in enriching the academic and extracurricular life within the department.
“The Executive Club” is led by a team of nine dedicated office bearers, who are democratically elected by their peers. This electoral process not only instils a sense of ownership but also provides invaluable leadership experience to the elected students.
Under the guidance of these student leaders, the club is responsible for organizing and managing a diverse range of events.
- Academic Workshops and Seminars: Enhancing subject knowledge and professional skills.
- Guest Lectures: Bringing industry insights directly to students.
- Inter-departmental Competitions: Fostering healthy competition and skill development.

- Career Counselling (May 5): Guidance by industry experts and alumni on BBA career prospects for students and parents.
- Business Leader Talk (June 28): Ms. Ragini Muralitharan emphasized learning, teamwork, resilience, networking, and technology through the acronym STUDENT.
- Power Seminar (July 6): Mr. Sathishraj, CEO of E-Crusaders, delivered insights on digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and life skills.
- Industrial Visit (July 24): Students visited Adyar Ananda Bhavan to learn about production, quality control, logistics, and strategy.
- Field Habitat Learning (Aug 3): A program on environmental conservation and sustainability in collaboration with Chennai Climate Action Group.
- Waste Management Induction (Aug 22): Launch of the “Waste Management Warrior” initiative to promote campus sustainability.
- VIO-TYCOON 2024 (Sep 20): Interdepartmental competitions (Adzap, Debate, Block & Tackle) to enhance creativity and teamwork.
- Investiture Ceremony (Sep 29): Induction of student leaders into the Executive Club and release of the third edition of departmental magazine “Spark.”
