Established in 2019, the Department of Computer Applications offers a three-year BCA program designed to build a strong foundation in computer science and its real-world applications. With an annual intake of 55 students, the curriculum is regularly updated to include emerging technologies such as Web Development, Data Science, Quantum Computing, Generative AI, and Mobile App Development. The program emphasises practical learning through well-equipped computer labs, project work, and extension activities that promote technical skills, innovation, and social responsibility. Supported by experienced faculty and mentors, students benefit from modern infrastructure, including smart classrooms and a digital library. An active Placement Cell assists students with internships and job
opportunities, preparing them for successful careers in the IT industry or advanced studies. The department is committed to producing industry-ready graduates who are innovative, skilled, and lifelong learners.

Over view:
The Department of Computer Applications runs an active student association named “Tech Zone”, established in 2022. The club serves as a platform for students to explore and enhance their technical skills beyond the classroom.
Objective :
The objective of Tech Zone is to promote creativity, innovation, and collaborative learning among students by organizing technical events such as coding contests, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, research collabrations with industries and project exhibitions. It aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices, preparing students to face real-world challenges in the IT field.
