Dr. Major I. BABU RATHINAM, M.com., M.Phil., Ph.D., PRINCIPAL

Area of Specialisation – Corporate Accounting and Finance

He has a college teaching experience of more than 35 years. Served as the Chairman, Board of Examiners and Chairman, Board of Studies in Corporate Secretaryship, University of Madras. He has organised State Level Academic Workshop and Conferences. Participated in National and International Academic Conferences and presented Papers in 19 Conferences.Published Five Research articles in the referred National Journals.Guided 25 M.Phil and 3 Ph.D Scholars in Commerce. During 2016, honoured with ‘Best Teacher Award’ by the Rotary International, District 3230. Life Membership in Three Professional bodies – Madras Management Association, Indian Accounting Association, Kolkatta and the Red Cross Society of India.

Served as the NSS Programme Officer and NCC Officer, Artilliary Unit at Guru Nanak College. For his 23 years of NCC Service presented with the Honorary Rank of MAJOR by the President of India.
