Avichi College of Arts and Science enable the student community to equip themselves with the latest trends and technologies. The college is a triple winged elegant building housing various departments with well equipped classrooms and labs. Being located in the heart of the city, the college is easily accessible through road and metro rail. A green sprawling campus with rain water harvesting drains which constitutes eco-friendly environment.

The Media Labs under the Department of Visual Communication is fully equipped with state-of-the-art studio facilities consisting of shooting floor for television production, Video edit suite, audio recording and voice booth, photography studio, drawing lab, Computer graphics lab.

The library is well-stocked with books, journals, newspapers, magazines with reading facility for the exclusive use of students and faculty. It functions from 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Online journals are also available in the library. Membership cards are provided to all students, faculty members and administrative staff members, through which they can borrow the books from the library.

“A champion needs a motivation above and beyond winning” the emphatic quote summarizes the importance of physical fitness and sporting spirit. The college believes that students should never slog with their curriculum. The fitness activity at the college ensures that each student is prepared with a sound body for a sound mind. The college sports facilities include: Cricket ground, Special courts for Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Kho-Kho and Kabbadi.

Students are well trained by the Physical Director on a regular basis towards achieving the winning moments of their sports career. Students are coached day in and out for tournaments and sports events conducted at zonal levels by University of Madras, State and National level.

The canteen is open from 8-30 a.m. to 3-00 p.m. with good ventilation and enough accommodation to dine at a time. Hygienic Refreshment items and lunch are available at reasonable rates. Students are permitted to visit the canteen only during the break time. (11.15-11.40am).
