Avichi College of Arts and Science organised A Webinar on the topic “The Dimensions of Employability Skills” on 6 th May, 2020 presented by young and dynamic person, Mr.Nandakumar IRS, Additional Commissioner, Department of Income Tax, Government of India. The webinar was started with the introduction about the speaker by Major.Dr.I.Baburathinam, Principal of the college. Later Mr.Nandakumar IRS addressed the students on how to be get self-motivated and how to improve their communication skills. He also advised them to start speaking in English with their friends even if it is grammatically incorrect. He encouraged the students by sharing his story and the
hardship faced by him to become IRS. As this is the period of Covid-19, where in the employment opportunities will be at risk and encouraged the students to start preparing for interviews by upskilling themselves. The session was well received by students followed by an active question answer interaction.
